Improve your Health This past year and a half has been tough for all of us. Personally I have faced some health challenges and with the help of a great Naturopathic doctor and exercise physiologist have been able to work through these. Though a moderate amount of stress can keep you healthy, an abundance can have a dramatic effect on your health. Nonstop stress adds up and deciding when to call it quits and enjoy a new chapter in my life has me sleeping better already.
Spend More Time with Family and Friends I have a lifetime of career achievements to look back on and I have thoroughly enjoyed my 32 years as a technologist. My career will not define me. Looking forward I want to spend more time bonding and visiting with my husband, kids and friends. To do this I need more time in my day and have decided to devote my time to creating more irreplaceable memories.
Enjoy Life & Pursue my Passions In just a few months I will begin living wholeheartedly and following my dreams. I have booked a trip to the west coast to spend time hiking in Banff, paddleboarding on Lake Morain with Zachary and kayaking with Hannah and bioluminescent algae on Vancouver Island. Teaching and sharing wellness, travelling, taking time out to share a cup or to break bread with my community will be my focus. I realize I am healthy now and I should not take that for granted. Time to Give Back Turning the page on my career will allow time for projects that fuel my passion. Volunteer opportunities offer a way to find a renewed sense purpose. Value Your Time Only today is guaranteed. I am grateful to be healthy. I am grateful to have the support of a husband, our kids and wonderful friends. I am grateful to have achieved so much success with all of my goals, now is the time to capitalize on the time I have left, and make the most of my retirement. Pivoting will allow me to focus on living harmoniously and becoming more present in my life.
