I miss connection, “the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued.” Brene Brown
Connecting with my clients and sharing experiences face to face. The fulfillment received from a smile, a breath, a thank you that assures me I have supported you.
We thrive emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually from connection. Its hardwired into our DNA. This need for connection makes the consequences of disconnection very real. I can attest to this. I have struggled.
Plugging in online, consistently, to teach and share my passion depletes me. I could not replace connection with communication. I am uncomfortable with technology and the thought of staying on line caused me a lot of anxiety. So I checked out.
I made the decision to not teach online. I also commend my fellow yogis who did rise to the occasion. Its hard work!
Instead I reviewed many teachings, and courses I invested in, worked on my own practice, sought out a therapist, a nutrition coach and spent the past year or so finding my way. I have many great books I have read and now I look forward to being outside and teaching in person, smaller classes in my outdoor space that will allow social distancing and human connection. Stay tuned!
Teaching that invites you to listen deeply, to check in, to go inward and feel everything.
Beginning with an Intention: Your reason to be here today, whatever that reason is and moving through your practice paying Attention to your Intention.
