The quote from Joseph Pilates merits thought. In a society that seems to be searching for the quick fix, the best fad diet, the easy way to exercise my thoughts are it doesn’t exist. Everything is connected for me. I believe in moderation. In the way I eat, exercise and move. I’m moving away from extreme anything. Movement and lack of movement design the body. If you can’t move it affects what and how you eat and how you feel about yourself. Age doesn’t restrict movement, lack of movement restricts movement. My teaching is evolving to focus on functional movement. I focus on the way the body moves. This I feel to be practical and useful, and may not necessarily always be attractive. I invite you to use the pose to get into your body.
